The most absolutely breathtaking watch I've ever seen is the Jacob & Co. Astronomia Flawless with the Sapphire Case. Grail piece for sure, although I'll most likely never get one to add to the collection.

Most definitely a 16710 with Pepsi dial from the last batches, the ones sporting Cal.3186 already. I want a date in my watch, and I travel often so the GMT complication is quite handy to know what time is it in my HQ and home.

Initially I thought about the classic 1675, but the difference in terms of movements is substantial between these two, and I also like having good lume at night. A 1675 would most likely have no lume at all by now so it's something I would probably miss.

So a GADA watch in other words. That leaves out chronos- much though I love my Speedy and much though I fancy a V3 Noob Daytona- and divers. After all my daily rounds do not involve wearing flippers and an aqualung.


However a true GADA watch goes with a suit for a job interview as well as with a T shirt and jeans

The AP RO is definitely in contention.

The 8500 and 8900 Omega AT and Railmaster are in with a shout. As are the Rolex OP, Explorer I and Datejust. These probably fit the bill best

But I do like me a GMT and have been wearing my GMF GMTII Batgirl since I received it in September.

The two tone 16753 and 16713 Eye of the Tiger rootbeers are personal grails and should I be able to acquire one it would probably be my daily and conceivably my one and only.
