Excerpts from A Clockwirx Red by diverdown60.
The following is a real story:

When they confiscated mine, the TSI agents escorted me into a room deep within the bowels of the RDU airport. They made me remove my ARF 116650 Black Ceramic White Dial A4130 904L. Once they had it, they passed it around taking turns looking at it. Then the TSI director appeared from the back room. He took the ARF and proceeded to check the sub dials to see if they were operational. Once he discovered the sub dials at 3&9 were "frozen" , he turned to me and shook his head in disapproval. He then tossed the daytona into a pile of watches marked by a big Replica sign. The agents grabbed my arms and sat me in a chair. The chair was overlooking a large pile of Replica watches. The agents then strapped me tightly into the chair and placed little wire hooks inside of my eyelids. This forced my eyes to remain wide open, I could not blink, could not look away. There was a big female agent that kept putting saline solution drops into my eyes to prevent them from drying out.
Suddenly, I heard a large machine start up. It was a rather large machine that had a huge roller on the front. They made me watch while the roller proceeded to roll over and pulverize the once shiny pile of replicas into a pile of crushed glass and metal. Main springs were jutting into the air as if reaching for help. I swear I could hear the difference in the cracking sound the gen Crystals made from the rep crystals.
The entire time the roller made its way back and forth, crushing and smashing, the agents were all laughing, such a wicked laugh. All laughing maniacally in unison. A projector flashed pictures of Chinese factory workers in cramped, dirty little rooms being forced to assemble rep watch parts. The photos continued to flash repeatedly and rapidly. My eyes painfully moving back and forth in their sockets, my mind exploding with images. Images of replica Rolex and Omegas, Breitlings and Pateks. Chronos and tourbilons, asian made eta copies. It was all more than I could bare.
I suddenly blacked out, lost in a horrific nightmare of innocent replicas being ravaged by the roller. I was in replica hell! I could hear voices chanting in Mandarin, repent ! repent ! Amazingly transposed into english and in surround sound Dolby sound.
Then, as suddenly as it all began I awoke. I found myself and my carry on bags standing alone on the tarmac. What had happened? Had this all been some type of horrific paranoid dream? Would the guilt I felt deep inside remain? Would my very psyche be wrought with eternal scarring? Would I be able to cross the tarmac safely as flight after flight rolled down the runway? Would I be able to get an Uber to take me home?
Would I ever be able to wear another replica when traveling?
These were my thoughts as I dug down deep into my special custom made concealed pants pocket and retrieved my favorite TCV7LVX.
As I strapped on my trusty TC, I marveled at it's incredible reserve. Proudly, it was still running smoothly and only -3 seconds since I had last set and wound it 48 hours prior.
The end!

This story has been compiled from various facts and experiences as stated from an actual replica watch wearer. Any names of persons, alive or dead, or places may or may not have been changed to protect the innocent. The story teller is in fact a real person. No replicas were actually harmed during the telling of this story. The decision to wear said replica watches while traveling via public transportation remains at the replica wearers sole discretion. The story teller claims no affiliation with the watch brands mentioned .

Be sure to look for upcoming replica travel adventures coming soon !

Hello, fellow North Carolinian!
I think Ive met 3 people in NC from all of the forums.

And to the OP, REALLY? TSA does give a crap. It’s not illegal to wear a rep. It’s only illegal to sell them.
The only issues you’ll have with TSA is if you’re middle eastern. (In the US anyway).

People worry too much about stuff nobody will even notice. Now, you were carrying cash to another state to buy a gen or a rep for a few grand, they can take your money for whatever reason they decide to.

Christ, I can’t believe anyone has the time to waist posting on this thread.
Wait, that’s what I’m doing!
Just say it was an anniversary gift from your bitch of an ex-wife who wiped you out in the divorce. They’ll laugh and let you go on with your miserable existence.

I don't believe that TSA personnel can spot a rep. Seriously I don't believe that anyone has ever spotted a rep that I ever wore and that's going back 20 years. I don't think this is an issue at all.

If you brings a rep attached to C4 then you will definitely end up in Guantanamo Bay or Joe Arpaio’s Tent City wearing pink underwear at the least.

I was in Le Mans in 1966 and Carroll Shelbys watch was had been confiscated as he flew in to France. He desperately raced around the pits (pardon the pun) looking for a chrono in order to time the GT40 driven by Ken Miles and finally beat Ferrari.

I thought it would be fitting to lend him my rep Paul Newman Daytona, but it wasn’t like his watch and he didn’t know which button to press and they didn’t work anyway.

Because of this they lost and millions of Ford workers were sent home.

If only someone had not made this thread then everyone would have not been too busy to answer my thread about which watch Mat Damon wears in the movie and I could have lent him that one .....

Love Rolex, Omega and Tudor.

I invite all of you to visit Switzerland with a bunch of reps in your suitcase. You will have a very nice experience when you get pulled for a customs check.

We came home from Turkey yesterday, got pulled for additional checks before boarding and got a right sweat on as I had 5 reps in my hold case, one in my carry on plus a seamaster on my arm but it was just a random check. He didn’t even flinch searching my bag and after a few mins I was on my way. I did panic though when they called me to one side!!!

Just trying to figure out a way to post some pics to get an idea if they’re any good, but look/feel decent to me

It does happen but I guess depends on circumstances, I was stopped once as I look homeless in my flying clothes, went into Abu Dhabi and got pulled wearing a gold wrapped Daytona (hardly subtle, I know), they searched my bags, once they saw clearly business (e.g. a suit) and other designer items (like wash bag etc) they were the nicest and most respectful people ever.

Well, if you travel to any country with a bunch of reps in your suitcase you either are a retard or clueless.
This is not the point of the thread.
If you wear one rep, and have another in your suitcase or your wife’s suitcase, NO ONE is gonna give a shit about what you are wearing /bringing inside the country.

But if you are bringing a bunch of reps, all stashed away in your suitcase as if you are trying to smuggle them, then you are in for some fun with the local authorities, but still, no one has ever suggested that

^^^Totally this. If you got a bunch of reps in your luggage as you said that can be seen as importing counterfeit goods to sell them in their country.

Not really the smartest move

Thats the story of my life. I just dont know which half is true and which is not. !

None of these ridiculous stories are true.....you can’t possibly be that gullible.

Aside from the average TSA agent not knowing a real Rolex from a counterfeit, it isn’t illegal to own a fake, just illegal to sell it.

This thread delivers. I just wish I could tell apart the folks screwing with people from the ones that legitimately believe this nonsense.

Customs at airports isn’t looking for counterfeit watches, they are looking for people trying to smuggle items purchased abroad into the country without paying the import tax. If you are traveling with a couple watches packed you have nothing to worry about. If you are coming into the country with a suitcase full of watches packaged up in boxes you will run into issues. This would happen with genuine watches as well.

Take the foil hats off people, most of the people in this thread are making fun of you.
