Hi I've just got this 1680 single red and this is going to be my next project I've already fitted a gen crown and tube plus a silver date wheel and gen plexiglass the bracelet is as good as my genuine one on my Air King has anyone any suggestions what modifications I can do to make it better

Why is the dial wrong ?

For a 1977

the dial is not wrong but the standard cartel dials are very low quality with bad printing, wrong letter spacing etc and do not look like a genuine dial and the crown guards are too thick especially on the inside.
