What base model should I use for a Franken project Datejust 41

Hey everyone! Hope you are all good. I want to start a franken datejust 41. Put a gen dial, crystal, datewheel, hands. Now that VSF dstejust are out, and it seems arf are not available as well, what would you suggest to use as base to start this project? Many thanks.

You'd probably want to go a clean datejust.

The hands and dial and datewheel should fit the vr3235 without modification.

If you went the ARF with the 2824 you'd have to modify the whole lot.

The case should take a gen crystal, but you'd have to confirm that. Don't know why it wouldn't.

Hi. Noob here and wondering where everyone source their gen parts to send separately to the modder / servicemen to franken or together with the rep? Is there a particular TD in the conus that is all one stop shop or it's better to source separately yourself?
