Not sure why you’d want to see Chewbacca wearing a watch.

Just want to clarify something, the second time function at 6 o’clock, you can only set the hour independently to the main time which is fine for most people unless you want to set your second time to somewhere in India on IST as they use an additional 30 minutes.

What is the movement in the watch and how well is it considered in the community?

It’s an Asian 23J 28800, so it’s anyone’s guess.

Until enough people buy them and either have issues or don’t we’ll probably never know.

After doing a bit of digging, I've been told this is based on a Seagull ST1780 movement.

You wouldn’t copy a Seagull, they’re too cheap. But apparently it’s based on a 1780. Someone mentioned it was based on a Miyota but the 9015 is 24J.

The strap is 21mm at the watch end and 17.5mm at the clasp end but I reckon the gen is 18mm.

Thanks! So there's a bit of space with the buckle?

Teeny weeny gap on each side of the strap. If you’re looking at ordering a genuine strap, I’m guessing it’ll be 18mm at the buckle end.

Lovely watch! Are you enjoying it?

PS- Would absolutely love if they repped the deep sea chrono, I LOVE that piece. Enjoy that one too!

Have a look online at how a miyota 9015 looks and how a st1780 looks, this one is a decorated 9015...

Going from the specs on all the TD’s, they all say it’s 23J and from what I find out the 9015 is 24J.

So thanks to Sead arrived sooner than hoped, shipping time to the UK about 7 days.

Its a rep, so the strap is awful, lume application is lumpy on some indices and theres some dust on the inside of the crystal.

Thoughts, personally, I like it. Enough to invest in a Camille Fournet strap, get the lume redone and the crystal cleaned up, yes. Am I bothered about the non working third time zone no. I've got a 1 in 250 chance of being called out in worldwide population of 7.8 billion.

Against my Deep Sea Chrono

This looks really great!

I put mine away for a bit as I’ve been wearing my Daytona, bought it out of hibernation and it started up ok, set the time and date and it’s been fine. Do it, you don’t regret what you do as much as what you don’t. If you do and don’t like it, flip it.
