JLC Moonphase: ZF vs GF

I don’t see any difference between the two vendors and the price is the same. $418

Which one is the better one? ZF or GF?

I've been looking into this and the biggest difference I can see is the logo is closer to gen on the old ZF, the C gets very close to the silver JL, also the silver moon is flat on the ZF, and domed on the GF. flat is closer to Gen I think. not sure why they would have printed it domed or if its the pics

IMO, GF has a better moon, ZF has a better everything-else (dial, buttons, hands). However, i only have the ZF version and i compare it to GF pictures...
Both very good reps, you can't go wrong...

Is the movement the same? They claim the moonphase is changing every month but shouldn't be 29 days?

Separately, I noticed this Chinese video of the ZF vs gen (I think) where it does show the difference between the ZF's moonphase calendar edge being worse on the ZF vs better on the GF:

It can't look at the date hand pinion, much better (and gen like) on the ZF

Just curious how is the date hands doing in ZF. Are they on the dot or they are slightly deviated from the dates.?? Any idea?

It's odd, the ZF has a better moon phase hand, the GF has a better moon phase dial edge. Both can't really be unseen to my eye. The first factory to fix either problem gets my money. Only problem is I'll have to wait.
