Master Ultra Thin Moon - help regarding moon phases

Hi! Been thinking about buying the Jaeger-LeCoultre master ultra thin moon but I'm unsure of the moon phase function. Does it actually work as the genuine or is it only decorative?

There's a big thread on this you could read up on, right there on the front page of the JLC forum. Not sure about the linked model, but the ZF is only a bit more and very well received. The moonphase on mine works just fine. The moonphase and date complication is set using pushers as gen.

FWIW the model you linked is missing a pusher, so no way it functions like gen.
