Hello,

Yesterday i received this watch - ZF IWC with annual calendar from Andrew ( trustytime )

Could you please to set the date. I'm not able to change de month manually or when the date is setting up at 31.

Change manually by turning the crown:

Change when normal functionning:

By mail Andrew told me: "The month function the Factory mentioned there is no real function"

On the website of trustytime, we can see the video : https://trustytime.io/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=30_189&products_id=22155

The month is changing when the date is 31.

Thank you for you help

Try setting the date to the 31st. Then pull out the crown to time setting position and turn the hands until date flips over to the 1st. Keep on turning the hands. Month and day of the week should flip shortly after the date. There is no quicker way to change the month, I'm afraid. At least that's how mine works.

I see - you did exactly what works with my portuguese. In this case I am very sorry but I am not sure if your watch works correctly. Might be something wrong with the date wheel mechanism but I am no specialist.

Thank you so much for your help.

I do not know if this dysfunction can be repaired or if the movement must be changed

I would be hopeful that a watchmaker can fix the issue. Unfortunately it most probably means that one has to remove hands and dial first to get to the datewheel, but that's no big deal for a skilled horologist.

The problem is the amount of hoops zf had to jump through to make this complication work with a standard off the shelf movement. If it needs parts no local watchmaker is going to be able to provide them. I have one of these in blue and it works perfectly but I am aware it is a ticking time bomb and if any part of the calender goes then it's basically the end of that.

I would be speaking to trusty about it because it's arrived not functioning.

Thank you !

i feel like trusty is driving me crazy to give up...

i bought 4 watches and 1 strap.

Strap is scratched. On qc’s it was clean.

1 watch have a loose hand
1 watch have dust between the sapphire glass and the dial
1 watch have a calendar problem

trusty asked me to send back the watch with loose hand to fix it. But if the package is catched by customs i loose everything...

i don’t know what to do anymore, i feel helpless

I have bought better straps anyway for most of my reps. If it is just dust, that can very easily be removed. If the hand came loose during transport, but is otherwise fine then that's a very easy fix, too. As for the datewheel problem, no one can say until the watch has been taken apart to identify the problem. Sending it back would be my last possible option. In fact I think I would never do that. Try to find a local rep friendly watchmaker to deal with the issues, or maybe one of the skillful horologists here on this board are able to help. And talk with your TD (as you already did), to work out a discount. Well that is just my recommendation. I am very sorry and hope all works out well.

Thank you Plaasbas.

Actually i am in discussion with Interaktiv. His fear for the detached hand is that it damages the dial during transportation.

I'll try one last time with trusty to find common deal...

Curious, how did it all work out?
Agree with the other member, returning any of the watches is the last option, to be avoided.
If the watches did arrive damaged, possibly the best you can get is a credit from Trusty on your next order.
Sorry for your bad experience, best of luck.
