Simultaneously, my 7 days Portugieser has stopped working and the movement has come loose. I took the back off and found these two small pieces of metal. One is the cover for rotor screw, but can't make out where the other piece came from. There are no tabs to hold the movement in place that you generally find in reps. The only thing holding the movement in place presently is the winder stem. I have removed the movement completely and cannot see any anchor points.
I don't believe in coincidence and I'm sure that it has stopped running is connected to this. When the case is tapped or knocked the balance wheel moves feebly and stops again.
If anyone has had this watch open, can they advise how the movemement is held in place?
