Came across this listing (https://ashton-blakey-antiques.com/products/iwc-chronograph-vintage-watches) for a gen and noticed the chapter ring alignment was a bit off. Check out the alignment at 12 and 60 compared to 6 and 30. It's more obvious in the posed wrist shot.
This is something I considering rejecting when my ZF v3 had the same thing but ultimately accepted. It's only slightly noticeable, but there nonetheless. Thought it was interesting this supposed gen had a similar problem.
