I also noticed the subdials appear to be wrong is size and/or position. Both the 6 and 9 subdials touch the adjacent hour markers on the replica dial, whereas there is a noticeable distance between those subdials and hour markers on the genuine dial. Maybe the replica dial is smaller in diameter when compared with the genuine?

Just some quick shots.

Obvious flaws:

1. Case is supposed to be brushed.
2. The rep dial is very slightly off white.
3. The engraving on the case back of the rep is not as fine.

Thanks for the comparison!
The day date fonts also look off

Brushed mid case looks like the most obvious tell. Other stuff, like slightly off front on day and date or ever so slightly off chrono dial size would hardly be noticed in real life.

If you haven't tried to brush ss yourself, you might not know this: The brushed mid case would be a super easy fix. I'm no watchsmith expert, but I bet I could do a competant job on the brushing in an hour or so which includes taking the movement & pushers out so I could get it all even around the pushers.

I was all set to buy right before cny, but I waited too long.

I do think I will give the brushing a try.

@spursian Is the entire case brushed or just the sides of the case. It looks like the surfaces that are visible from the top, like the top of the lugs, are polished in both the gen and rep. It is a little hard to be sure as it is super hard to take great pics of this sort of thing...

Only the sides are brushed. The top is polished.

Whoa! that looks great, what did you use to get the brush finish? I might want to do this to some of my brushed cases to give it a rejuvenated look.

Obviously I am not the one that brushed this one, but I have done it many times and it is super easy. To go from polished to brushed just use green 3m scotch pad. Make sure and move it in only 1 direction. To do this mid case it would work best to remove the movement 1st so you don't have to work around the pushers.

Thanks for the info, will give it a try first on a case that is sitting in the spare parts drawer
