Hey IWC experts,

I recently bought an IWC LPP Chrono. I bought a genuine Santoni strap for it and am looking for other upgrades I can do to it. Can I change the movement to be accurate? Are any board members able to do this swap? Want to make this watch as close to gen as possible but do not know where to start. Thank you!

Yeah you can.

This is mine. Gen dial, gen hands, Swiss 7750, with gen spec day date wheels.

I posted a build thread a year ago that compares colour of rep and gen dials.

That’s a beauty! Any leads on where I can find genuine parts and or a recommendation to any members who could switch out the 7750 for Swiss?

try m2m or chrono24. might be harder to find single date parts as they are more recent.

I can't seem to find your old post... could you post a link if you can track it down? I'm always scrutinizing the blue colour of the rep iwc dials with respect to gen.

Here are some of the build photos.

Rep dial is more purple when put side by side with gen. But maybe not that obvious if not directly compared side by side.

I love how the gen dial changes from sunburst blue to almost black depending on the lighting.

I heard the hands on the rep didn't fit the gen 7750 movement. Is that true?

I just heard the same thing. This is what I received back when inquiring about some watch parts so that I can start my franken. Mind you, I did not tell the vendor that I was building a franken:

“Hello I can not help with the dial, but do have a few hands and the crown and tube.

Crown A02172 $142.00(in stock)
Tube A40151 $55.00(in stock)
Counter hand A38579 $105.00(in stock)
Running sec hand A38583 $105.00(in stock)

Please be aware that these parts do not fit a "non-genuine" IWC watches. I do not guarantee any fit on any other watch other than a genuine IWC watch with 3777-14 case number. All sales are final with regard to IWC parts due to issues in the past with people trying to fit my genuine parts to non-genuine watches. There is no possibility of returning these parts if you find they do not work for you. You would have to agree to these terms if you wanted to purchase the parts. Don't take offense to this. I have to let you know up front so that you can make a decision.”
