It's a spectacular piece, can't go wrong with it. They indeed put a lot of effort into getting the movement right. Although, there is a misspelled piece of text in the movement deco. It's really minor, but if it bothers you, you could wait for a V2.

You should know, it's not a true annual calendar as the date cycles through to 31 every month. Other than that the day and month flips as they should.

Haha, I can still remember the hype train when this watch was rumored to be in the works. A lot us were on the edge of our seats, waiting for more pics.

It looks gorgeous indeed. The dial looks a different from the original though. At least from the internet pictures I saw. The concentric stripes are not showing on the rep. The dial looks plain blue. Am I wrong?

Looks nice, just a bit more improvement for me to consider it. Love this watch though.

You mean the concentric circles on the sub-dials? They are there.
