since now (finally) my IWC "drawn" 3714 GEN with me is I want to show you a little guessing game.


What is Gen?
What's Rep?


Who knows the difference ??? :dry:

Anyway, making my guess: This one is tricky since These are different Versions. Not only the Color of Hands and numbers, but also broader dots next to the numbers, other Hands, broader crown, shiny subdials. Therefore, I think it's the Rep, but not the current ZF-version.

The right one with the running chrono is the Gen, I guess.

As said before: broader dots next to the numbers, other hands, broader crown, shiny subdials.

Assume this is new version as the chrono pushers are noticeably bigger especially the stems.

Also bezel angle, thickness of the print, shininess of sub dials but otherwise real close to Gen ( from the front). :laugh:

I read that the rep is a lot thicker than the gen. Can you please make a picture comparing the thickness. Is it this the model from zf http://www.intime.co/iwc/2739-portu...blue-markers-on-blue-leather-strap-a7750.html

Normally the case at the back - whether the screws are screwed in rather than "stuck on" so to speak. Screwed = SWF
