So thought I'd ask here- after some searching seems like ZF has the best offering of this watch, even compared to the newer YLF version, is that correct? Looking for a RG/blue one now...

Yes, that is correct. you want the 500909 from ZF, V2.

Just went to franken a 5009. To anyone interested in changing the datewheel to a gen: it won't fit in the rep movement. (Should've known but tried anyway )

Sorry, but you have to swap the both parts of the strap. BP straps are worn in the opposite way.

I finally managed to find one with decent dw alignment..

Two issues so far..
The lume is awful. (especially at the 11 and 1 hour marker) and it definitely needs some AR work

Ah, I have to say: alligator straps with rivets are in the region of 200€. If you choose just calf skin it's below 100.

But the quality of both is excellent.

I’ll go for calf skin, dark brown with rivets if I find it.

I usually see scratches on these sunburst dials, which only appear in certain angles. Smudges, I haven't seen so far.

I would not worry about it so much, that's like hyper zoomed in - the date looks good : )

Unfortunately you can see it even at wrist distance... . This has become my favourite watch right next to the SMP 300 Sedna and Tudor Pelagos

I think the AR of this watch somehow needs a bit improvement (compare with a rep, VSF Omega I have) Can anyone suggest where I improve the AR? Do we have trusted service providers here at RWI?
