Hublot Big Bang gen check

Hi all,

Being offered a full set BB (missing manual) for a good price and was wondering if anyone can take a look at the pics and let me know if they see any red flags which might indicate this is a rep?

It is also missing a screw on the caseback... not sure if that happens often on gen and/or reps.

Whats the asking price?
if it seems too good to be true it probably is,
however from the pictures I don’t see any red flags,
apart from the missing screw ofcourse

Thanks for the feedback. Around USD 6.2k- not super cheap but a good price i reckon for full set.

It seems to also be missing the lug screws on both sides. However looks genuine despite this, as movement finishing is much better than the reps.

Bit of an update but i decided to meet the seller at an AD to cross check the watch with a new one and couple of red flags came up:

1) movement looked very different (not just the wording which i understand they changed over the years)

2) box didnt have the glass on top- AD said they never seen this type of box before

3) AD also said they never heard of screws falling off (and from what I’ve read; seemed to be happening to reps though)

Eventually decided to not buy it...

Thanks! Looks like i got away with this one! How can i tell the rep from gen dial? Any obvious things to watch out for? Dw looked ok to me but i must be blind

Can i also ask a for check on this one (i apologise for the poor quality pics)? Anything that indicates rep?

The rep dial does not have the polished spaces between the numerals and the indexes as you can see on the dial the lower numerals and indexes from 4 to 9 o clock have some dark mirror effect (sorry for my bad English) the upper numerals and indexes reflect something bright I will post a foto of my franken hublot with gen dial and one with the rep dial

In the first two pics you see the polished finish between the indexes and numerals on the dial on the last two pics you see the numerals and indexes are all over brushed on top and between hope this could help

Thats great input- thanks! If i may summarise, what you are saying is that rep dials are shiny and gen dials are not.

So first pic is gen dial (kind of a matte look) whilst second is rep (shiny between 12 and 2)

ah now I understand what you mean yeah you are right the carbon pattern is more matte and the rep dial is more shiny

What I meant are the small gaps on the indexes and numerals itselves. So if you look at the 11 o clock index you see that in the middle it looks almost black because of the mirror polished finish. If you look at the 4 o clock numeral index the light conditions let it looks like it is brushed in the small gap because it mirrors the light Hard to explain the small gap on every index is mirror polished instead of satin brushed this makes the dial look more shiny and more blingy

on the rep you see that the indexes are all over matte on the surfaces and in the gaps

btw your strap looks awesome! How does it feel with the aligator leather on top ?

That strap with the red stitches looks great- debating whether to get a rubber one as well though (the previous owner only had the gummy)

Instant tell are the midlinks they often don't have a "straight" cut.
