ETA7750 for HBB

Hy everyone, i was searching the forum and couldn't find anywhere if a swiss ETA 7750 fits for the Hub Big Bang RG or Evo II SS!?

Does anyone know this because of the chrono and second hands 9-6-3 and all the swiss 7750 have 12-9-6?!

I think its a hard mod to do IIRC. Hands don't match up or something, sorry I can't be more helpful. I tried to have Vac do this years ago and he couldn't pull it off.

This is the link to yhe franken that I owned and sold some time ago. Chrono hand and subdial hands need to be broached if you fit an ETA 775X series movement. 7753 is not a great choice, you won't have the sunken datewheel and it's also a lot more expensive.9 Even gens have modified 7750, not 7753. 7754 is a good alternative.

I would highly reccomend Domi for this job.

Thanks for the great info. Is Domi in the EU located? I don't have to many rep friendly watch smiths here and the one i was satiesfied with has now a contract for all the swiss makers so he can't take it anymore.

Domi is the watch Doctor . If he can't do something there is a high possibility no one else would do it LOL . Yes he is located in the EU . The ONLY problem is you have to be patient with him as he is always busy and has a queue of watches so it could take a long waiting time depending on how busy he is.

That's thank God not a problem, other watches need also some wrist time The HBB is one of my favorite watches so i want it to be perfect how can i reach Domi? What's his forum name?

Ahh , get ya haha. You can Scroll down the home section, click on "Watch makers/Horologists" and you'll see "Domi's Corner" with all his details and works as he updates his details often so it's best to check on there for his new email/other details.

Otherwise you can also scroll the home page and click on Watch Modders/ Repairs and take a pick of other EU watch specialists...

I have a few pieces of A7753 and soon there will be a few pieces of ETA7753, if I’m lucky to buy at a good price Hublot, I’ll take a swap and let you know the results.

I would be grateful for any info on this matter Maybe i have found a watch smith here in croatia that probably could do it. I have sent him my HBB RG for a service and waterproofing and will later on ask him if he can do it, if it's a yes i'll buy either the 7750 or 7753, depending on which it will be easier for him to do the adjustment's.

So i got the ETA 7753 and it's currently at a watch smith for the exchange. I asked if he could also change the datewheel from the clone to the ETA. Next to do is to find a gen rotor or to make the change of the rotoe bearing from the Hamilton ETA rotor to the clone HBB.

Also i need to send the watch to someone for waterproofing and some minor polishing. I already asked one member but he has refused because of to many work he has pending. Can't wait to get the watch

And how did you manage the 12-9-6 outlay from the ETA7750 or did you find one with the 3-6-9?
