Grand Seiko Spring Drive Movement

A question for the more experienced community members. What brands or watches come close to the spring drive movement of GS? And do you think it is possible in the future to have something similar build into a rep watch?

I doubt it would be a profitable replica. Then again I never thought we would have reps so nice either.

Comes close in terms of smoothness? Try a Bulova Precisionist with the 16 Hz movement. Or a high beat Zenith with 10 Hz (36000vph).
