Hello, everyone.
I just bought a - reportedly - genuine 1967 Longines Cosmo 2222 17J watch.
The watch looks nice, and is supposedly never worn. It is in the original box with tags and serial number identifying it as a 1967 model, and a price marking as $95.
The backstory as to how he comes to have a new in box 52 year old watch sounds a little funny, which makes me suspect the authenticity.
On the other hand, would any factory bother making a good quality replica including box, papers etc, of a watch that was only $95 new?
A look through the various replica watch sites didn't find a rep of this watch.
Here's some pics.... anyone got an opinion?
Thanks in advance,
Richard
