I was visiting my father last weekend and he was showing my son some of his old watches, lapel pins, tie tacks etc.
I came across this watch and was intrigued by the age and the fact it still worked. After a little research I discovered that Gallet (Swiss) has been making clocks and watches for 500 years. They were the first company to offer a waterproof watch according to some info I found. Anyway, I thought I’d share some pics.
If anyone has any other info about this brand/model let me know.
I’m thinking about trying to find a new crystal but this one doesn’t look too bad as is.
