Movement is pretty solid in this comparable to seiko 7s26 movements. Cheap, non hacking but solid also these are super divers right out of box.

Wow that's a real nice and classy modded Vostok ! :adoration: Vostoks have a real special place in my heart because it is my gateway watch to the world of mechanical watches.

I also learned most of my experiences modding using these watches. I felt really happy that there is someone who shares my appreciation of these Vostok watches in this forum.

I'm going to share with you my Vostok Amphibia. The very first watch I have modified.

I ahve been waiting to pull the trigger on a russian for a very long time.
Now if I can find a new / barely used Bronze Vostok Amphibia someplace, I can contribute to this thread as well.

Russian watches are very tough and good quality for their price point. I have been using my Amphibia for daily use and I haven't experienced any stoppages.

For someone used in handling watches manufactured by other countries, you will be surprised at the Vostok Amphibia and Komandirskie's wobbly crown. They also don't have a quickset date, so they can be tedious to set properly.

Here are pictures of two other Russian watches that I have in my humble collection.

This is another Vostok Amphibia of mine with an aftermarket bezel. It has a vintage Desert Shield dial with hands. The movement and case are of modern production since the original ones were too worn out to be saved.

This is a Poljot De Luxe with the 2209 movement. If my memory is correct, it is one of the thinnest wristwatches produced by the Soviet Union.

Nice collection! [emoji106] I’ve been looking for a Vostok amphibia 1967 bronze for the longest time.

If any enthusiast can send me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated.

Wow you managed to get one of the 1967 Amphibia for this year. It is a very pretty watch with a Sapphire crystal already installed compared to the mineral glass in the last 67 edition. It also has a pretty sandwich style dial which I really like.

If you want to have a chance purchasing a 1967 Vostok Amphibia, you should check out Meranom. They also sell other kinds of Vostok watches.

If they make a 1967 Ampibia in stainless steel I might get one as well. The bronze one is still very pretty though. :adoration:

Wow that's a nice Ocean Chronograph. These 3133 movement watches are getting more scarce. I believe this is the one which has an internal bezel? Thanks for sharing your watch.

Yeah, something like that. Totally green with envy right now. If you ever want to part with it, hit me up. [emoji2]

I already subscribed to Meranom email alerts for this watch for over year now. In that time I’ve got 3 alerts but because of the time difference (I was in bed), someone else beat me to it every time. [emoji21]

Unfortunately, these 1967 Amphibias sell really fast. You really need to monitor the website and buy it immediately before stock gets empty. I have the same experience as well when I wanted to buy one of these.

I wish you good luck in purchasing one of these awesome 1967 Amphibia watches. :adoration:

Love the Vostok Amphibias. I'll get a few decent photos of my own, and get them posted. Best bang-for-your-buck auto divers watches out there!
