Anyone into Seiko divers?

Anyone looking at picking up one of the new Seiko Samurai PADI's that just got released? I have had it in my cart and keep telling myself I need to stop with the Seiko addiction (I have been wanting to pick up a Turtle PADI at the same time....I will be a young PADI-wan)

@Maron...good to see that old Seiko getting some wrist time! I bought this case set from the bay for $9...it was a salesman sample, so basically it was nos case, crown, stem dial, and hands, and bracelet. I have several 6309 movements, so I cleaned one, dropped it in the case...now a 1970's beauty that is nearly new.

Creation watches is one of the most well known and most well respected dealers of jdm watches period. If you don't believe me, ask on wus or do a search over there. It just dawned on me that since you have like 2 posts you might not know what wus is. watchuseek is probably the biggest watch forum for gens. If not there check it out on timezone the other one. You are going to find the same.

Try not to start trashing someone when you know nothing of them

Thank you for your reply but I please read what I wrote (I never said anything bad about CW, only quoted from another forum which had multiple links detailing users poor experiences with CW). I realise that CW probably sell in large quantities so perhaps the poor experiences are in proportion with other sellers. However, since my last post I contacted Seiko Service Centre UK and the lady there cut me off as soon as I mentioned CW, stating that they have many problems with them. I pushed her on this as at the end of the day they're still selling Seiko watches; I never got a straight forward reply but the implication was the watch may not be new, fake, etc.

As I said, CW offered me a full refund. I was only here sharing my experience, seeking advice and trying to see if anyone had had similar experiences to those I had read elsewhere.

Another 4R36 acquisition.

A Prospex Diver with attitude. You either love it or hate it, there's no in between.

Being a diver, I can appreciate the aggressive aspects of this instrument. It also has wrist presence and is a hefty timepiece. From the chunky yet comfortable bracelet to the 45mm circumference, this watch demands respect. It also has Seiko's tried and true divers extension. I especially like the over-sized crown and solid end links. This is a great bargain at 200USD shipped, I think I will be enjoying this one for a long time.

Yes but both watches are pretty bulky for gym work. I wouldn't wear my monster or SKX to the gym.
