True, but I think the claimed 50 hour power reserve makes up for it. The SRPB69J1 has one more jewel and only gets a claimed 40 hour power reserve.

I have the white version of this watch (SARX033). I highly recommend it, the finishing is nicer than several other (slightly more expensive) watches I own, and it just has an extra sparkle to it. The bracelet with the diashield coating is also top notch and extremely comfortable.

I’m curious on everyone’s opinion on the mm300 (sbdx017). I often see them selling for the $1600 or so range and I’ve almost pulled the trigger several times but the height of the watch is what’s been holding me back. It does have an x-factor to it that I can’t describe.

Out of interest, what was the problem in the end? Was it magnetised, did it need regulation, service?

I've always wondered with these cheaper Seiko movements whether servicing is worthwhile. Or whether it's cheaper to just replace the whole movement when there's a problem.

He replaced and cleaned up 2 monsters. $173 including tax. It was a gen 1 and gen2 monster.

when my gen 1 orange monster needs a service i'm going to look into them using a 4r36 instead of the 7s movement, I guess they'll have to use the crown from a newer monster

This a new model Recraft released this year. When I first saw it last week I knew it was the right choice for a family members gift. Both, I and my wife were fighting over it the first day it arrived, I had to lock it up in the safe to keep both of us from fondling it. These pictures simply do not do the dial justice, it is much more iridescent in person.

Date and time are obviously wrong, however, I want to deliver this jewel in its virgin form because I know the joys of getting something like this for the first time and wanting to set the time and date.
