Best genuine "Rolex sub design watch" <300$?

weird topic, but best i could think of right now.

The story is that im looking for a toolwatch that i can use when its time for swimming, working on the car etc. I would like it to be gen, hopefully hassle free ownership

This is my list of preferences:

1. Has to look like a Rolex sub..
2. 40-43mm
3. SS or PVD
4. Waterproof at least 100m
5. Max 300$

6. best bang for the buck (quality, crystal etc)

Date/day dosent matter. Auto/wind dosent matter.

What to get? Im thinking Invicta pro diver, Deepblue, any of the numeral seikos (The Shogun is nice). What would be your choice?

They are good lookers and quite affordable. My son has few as a daily beaters and very happy with the attention they get. Plenty of them on The Bay. IMHO on of the best Rolie lookalikes out there.

I think i have found them now. I will get a Seiko SKX007 for the dirty jobs and the Steinhart Ocean 1 Red for the Rolex homage watch.

I love this hobby. But sometimes i just want something with warranty and proper QC.

Steinhart, 350€

Seiko SKX007, 150€

That is also a nice watch. Its so hard when it comes down to choosing the right model. One day the red seems nicer, the other day the millitary gets you going. What to do hehe..

I know the bezel design is better on the v6S, better lumes, water resistant, better movement. What are some other tells? To me this watch looks as good as the more high end models, there is no pictures of the inside of the bracelet logos,etc which I am interested in seeing.

Would this be a good beater sub? My first rep purchase from a TD. Is this really a "high beat" movement?
