I just pulled the trigger for a Steinhart Ocean 1 (m2m sales) and anxiously now waiting to receive it and see how I feel about it. This is the original sales thread

I also quite like the looks of the GMT series, actually love it to be honest!!! Anyone around has this beauty?

I love that Pepsi steinhart! My only gripe with steinhart is the cyclops magnification, I would prefer it to be 40mm and I like a bracelet that tapers and I think the steinhart bracelet is 22 to 20? Where as a rolex would be 20 to 16?

Squale makes great rolex homage that wear closer in size to the rolex

Steinhart is top quality though that's for sure! I'm had two of their pilot watches but not yet an ocean series

Congrats on a beautiful watch.

I like a lot of their models and would instantly buy one if they start to make 40mm ones.

Had an Aramar, also a real good and beautiful watch but with it's 42mm just a little too big for me..

That is always the best advice!! Titanium looks great but I am afraid of the lightweight feeling of a titanium piece..

From what I have read it seems to wear very comfortable.. And for me personally, I rather wear a lighter watch than a heavier one. The Aramar also was quite heavy and moved up and down on the wrist a bit..

But I guess that's different for everybody.

The only thing that concerns me is that I have the SD, then the Ocean 1 is with removed cyclops (so looks close to SD in some way) and I will have the TC Sub soon.. What to keep and what to let go? I will maybe take pics of all and put the matter under debate [emoji6]

That's always the easiest answer lolol!! I am still waiting for the post, taking too long but what to do! I am anxious to see it in flesh since this will help me decide if I will go for any of the GMTs

@MaronAckay Here is my 39mm Coke GMT, they made it in pepsi too. I have only seen like 3 of these for sale ever, took me months to find one.

Yep 20 to 18. If you scour WUS you can probably find one but it takes time, this is the old Steinhart brand, they also have ones under their old name "debaufre" but they're very hard to find. But worth it

Yes I've seen them here and there. And they've got eta instead of sellita as they are now

Yea the have ETAs. Steinhart now uses Soprod A-10 movements which have actually been said to be better than ETAs

Yes I've heard great things about the soprad. When I was looking at steinhart last year only the special edition models had soprad and the rest had either eta or sellita. Have they switched over to all soprad?.don't they also have an in house movement now?
