Gf 100% gen replication, the sample damaged and broken that’s what’s Andrew told me , after GF maker issue , the watch very accurate and scary close to Gen, no idea about ABF.

That looks awesome, and as far as I can tell, not different from what I received about 1.5 years ago from Puretime, a watch which was called “Vanguard V45 RG TF 1:1 Best Edition Gray Dial RG Inner Bezel on Brown Gummy Strap A2892” at the time. I can post pictures of what I received. Not sure how TF relates to GF or ABF...

That’s not true , bad look gen sample fully damaged so no comparison , gen vs GF vs TF vs ABF the winner GF every part and detail match Genuine ,

Can I ask you to elaborate on what you said?

I have an inkling of what you’re saying here... do you mean that a gen watch was fully disassembled to replicate every part on this watch? That is a frequent claim from practically every maker and dealer, but doesn’t guarantee results. Can you say that wasn’t done for TF and ABF?

That’s great, but do you have side by side comparisons with TF or ABF to back this claim up?

I can post pictures side by side but I would ask you to show me where GF gets it right and TF fails.

The GF will have a better caseback for sure. That was the only real problem with the TF. TF was a really great rep, not a super rep as it had some silly small flaws like the colour of the crown that could easily be explained away as a revision, but amazing build quality for the money

It doesn't really matter if there's no comparison video or whatever, GF never cut corners, they are the true AAAAAAAAAA of the rep world

No GF v10's, if they get anything slightly wrong it's corrected by v2 and that's that, no deliberate mistakes to make you buy 10 more revisions.

Even though I have the TF SS and love it I might get the GF anyway. It's way too big for my 6.5' wrist but hugs it surprisingly well.

The only stumbling block is the prospect that if GF may decide to rep the 41, as they moved towards smaller Breitlings and Cartiers after first repping the bigger ones, I'd wait for that, as that's the perfect fit for the skinnier wrist brigade

I can see that the GF looks awesome. To be honest I’m not seeing those limitations in the TF (crown or caseback) but one of you will point it out for me I’m sure.

Engravings on the caseback are a bit shallow

I have always felt the aesthetics of the FM Vanguard line have been underappreciated in proportion to the hype of RM, especially when FM has been innovating in this case style form factor for longer. Just goes to show you have to not only innovate but put your product in the hands of sports and cultural icons to create value.

I completely agree with you, I was really surprised how much I liked my TF. I don't care about silly little flaws like caseback engravings, who's gonna take that beast off, I can barely get mine on let alone off

This is a great piece, shame AR on the date window is only average. I do want to add an OEM strap, but at £450, its a little to rich for me.
