elink - 60 euros for a gen FM dial? Was it authenticated? Something doesn't pass the smell test. Where'd it come from?

I have no doubts it is genuine.
It cost €60 because the dial has a very slight scratch which you can see under magnification.

swapped in the "gen" blue dial. I like this watch 12.3% more now.

The blue dial has that nice shimmery effect when the light hits it.

man I love this watch. Everyone should go buy one from Josh or Andrew. They go so well with a suit or with jeans and a t shirt.

my sarcasm is dripping down my monitor.. sixty euros for a genuine FM dial is like a dead fish.. being sold as a trained dolphin.. impossible to believe

but then.. the old stories will start.. it came out the back door, it was from a truckload of originals that turned over in a tunnel and were all damaged, one of the employees has been taking them home for years.. etc. etc...

Modded with genuine dial

I think the rep dial is closer to the gen than the "genuine" dial you bought. The gen conquistadors I've seen have the second tick markings in red, "swiss made" in red, and the 10, 15, 20... markings in white. Your new dial has the opposite color scheme. Check out these pictures of the gen:

I love my recently acquired Conquistador. I can't stop looking at this dial - so many fine details. The 2892 has been incredibly accurate - within seconds per day!

FM offers many modifications of their dials.
I was not saying there's no genuine dial like that on the rep.

P.S.: When you hold both dials in your hand, there's no doubt which one is genuine.
