How big is to big?

Hello
I have kind of a small wrist, 16.5cm/6.5inch, but I like the design of many watches on the bigger side. I have a couple of 44mm Pams which I think fits nicely. Could I go for a 47mm Pam? I also like the Blancpain fifty fathoms 45mm. From what I understand the fifty fathoms wears like a smaller watch. Could I pull it off?

Kind regards from Sweden

6.5 isnt small, it's a decent size, that's what she says ;)

I've a 7.25-7.5" wrist, depending on how healthy I'm being that particular week, and heres a pic of the Pam127 "fiddy" on my wrist.
This is a 47mm beast of a watch , but I believe the 47mm watches are supposed to be worn big and enjoyed for their ridiculous size. And I do enjoy it on the wrist.

It's not whether we think it's too big for you, it's what youre comfortable with, so go with your gut and enjoy.

Welcome aboard.

And in contrast, heres probably my smallest faced watch, that I've actually decided to wear this week, just coz.

It's all about what makes you smile when ya look down (jeez the puns just keep coming), but I say go big and enjoy :D

6.5 is fine, but 47mm PAMs are the max then.
If the lugs are too far over the wrist, it looks weird at some point! I have a 7.9 wrist and 47mm PAMs are perfect for me (IMO)
Here a 372, 187, 3646 (47mm) and the MAX for me a DSN 52mm EGI!
And YES PAMs are supposed to be worn big, so enjoy ;)

44mm PAM is the max for me on my 6.5" wrist. I love the look of some bigger PAM, 47mm Submersibles and the Fiddy for example, but it would just look ridiculous on me, so I stick with smaller ones.

that's too big for you sir.
anyways, it's your choice so enjoy it!

Agree. That is why that watch is no longer in my possesion. But as P..DR..D and PAM_BOY said, these are build to be worn big. Just wanted to give a refference since I have the same wrist size. At the end of the day is a matter of what makes you happy...

Usually live by a mantra of 'Go big or go home' :D:D
