Movement/ Power reserve issue?

Not sure what section to post this in…so I will go with this one and hope for the best.

I purchased a BR03-92 Ceramic from a TD roughly 6 months ago – it has a miyota 9015 according to the specs on the TD site

Beautiful watch -my only issue is its power reserve (which I am led to believe is 48hrs?)
I work a desk job nowadays and unfortunately quite a sedentary role, in which I find my watch not keeping accurate time… losing quite a bit of time each day. Bbut on weekends where I am more active it runs fine for the daytime.
My main concern is that of a night when it is taken off for upto 8 hrs at a time it never runs the full night. I have tried to remedy this by handwinding it 20 full rotations as suggested and yet I still wake up to a watch that has ran for an hour or so more and then stopped altogether.
Is a handwind any good to power the reserve, or is it the rotor that does the powering of that?

You need to have it looked at by a watch smith. You should have at least 40 hours of power reserve on a full wind. And if you are losing minutes a day at work that is a problem as well. 30 seconds per 24 hours is spec. Lots of things it could be, but none of them really user serviceable if you are asking these kinds of questions, no offense, but this is basic stuff. 9015 is an automatic, you can hand wind and it is recharged by a rotor counterweight geared to the mainspring. You hear about them having rotor issues often. This could also be a magnetized issue.

No offense taken.
I understand how an auto works, I just wanted a bit more knowledge from seasoned watch fans.
I have done a few tests and if I fully hand-wind and place my watch on the table it will run for 30-40 mins - which is clearly an issue...but i have noticed when it does stop, the second hand stops on 20 second mark EVERY time.
Even when it stops while wearing it the second hand stops at the same point, and if i tap the crystal lightly the second hand will take off again as if nothing was wrong (so I am guessing the reserve has still got power in it).
Possible bent second hand rubbing on crystal at 20 second mark?

If the second hand stops at the same point as you described, it could be rubbing against a marker on the dial or the crystal. Most members were able to fix the problem by slightly bending the second hand. You just have to figure what its rubbing against.
