So, I'm very new to RWI and thought I would share with other new people so you can get an idea of how the experience went.
The first thing I did is go to the forums did some reading and asked some questions. There were some very helpful people and a lot of trolls. Just beware if you ask a question about a certain watch Some people with 10k + post will come on and flame you as lazy for not reading 1000's of posts from years back, and being a noob. I didn't appreciate that very much, but in between those trolls were helpful people willing to answer questions.
The Watch: I chose a 2018 Omega Seamaster with a grey dial. the reason I chose it is because it wouldn't look out of place in my lifestyle, it's a watch I could conceivably own, I ordered it from InTimeWatch at intime05.com.
Payment method. I had to learn bitcoin, but it wasn't that hard, once the payment was made it took 3 or 4 days to confirm. after that, it took about 10 days for the watch to be sent from the factory. They sent me pics of my actual watch to inspect and it looked OK in the pictures so after that they shipped it.
I thought shipping would take a long time, but from Hong Kong to Los Angeles, I got the watch in 8 days.
The Watch itself: it looked great putting a caliper on it it came within spec of the real model in cross diameter and from lug to lug. it was 1mm short across the diameter to the crown. I'm certain a jeweler with an eyepiece would spot it immediately, but this watch passes the eye test. I would dare anyone with the naked eye to tell it apart.
Overall. It was a quick simple process and I was very pleased with my watch. I will definitely do it again.
