buy a Tudor Submariner rep and change movement?

Hello people,

i am Interested in buying a vintage Tudor submariner like this one:

Is it possible to change the movement to an ETA afterwards? And if so, is there someone on this forum who can do that? How much would it cost (movement + swapping).

i tried the search the forum, but didn‘t find an answer.

Hello!

It should be possible to swap to an ETA as A2836 is based on the ETA clone.
The best way is to go to a local watchmaker to help you.

Other than that, have you tried contacting BK?
He does movement swap from the Asian clones to ETA.

Regarding me I am wearing those REPs as long as the clone movements runs reliably.
The costs for a movement swap are only justified, if the REP-movement stops working.
Meanwhile those asia clones run very good.
