Hi all,

How is the A2813 movement rated among you pros?

Thanks

Great workhorse movement. Takes a beating and they run, run, run. Also: rough, loud (spinning) rotor, visibly rougher seconds hand. Better on any of the vintage subs: 5512, 5513, 1680 - it doesn´t match a modern sub as well. I like them.

Yea I agree with them being great for vintage model subs but for any of the new ceramic subs it’s too much of a visible stutter and ticks a tad too loud. Also feeling the rotor moving around on a newer ceramic sub would be a dead give away. But they do kinda run forever

It can be pretty loud if you are throwing your hands around. anyway, the rotor noise can be reduced by dropping a tiny bit of swiss oil on the rotor bearing.
