BTW, my scabby hand isn't due to "Big Crown Abrasion Syndrome" - it's where the cat attacked me. Which is annoying, because I always tell him, "Not the watch hand!" in the same way an actor or model would implore, "Not the face!" :)

Hi, Gang! Welcome to a new week! May it be fruitful and peaceful to you all.

Today, I'm showing off this newly arrived "rare" INVICTA 1953 submariner (#31290). After an intense workout with the link pins that didn't want to come out, I finally adjusted it to be snug fit I like on my bracelet watches. The dial make up does resemble the older Rolex Sub (#5512, I believe), the seconds hand travels smoothly around the dial, its motor, a Seiko N35A works perfectly, and the lume is all right; at $147 (including shipping and tax) it's the most I've ever spent on an IN VICTA. After all the press and celebitory media coverage. I knew it was a watch I really wanted to add to my INVICTA collection. dave:
