I fucking love this watch. It keeps great time and operates/functions so well. I love the movement as well as the finishes. The finish on the case, bracelet, movement, hands. I just wish they could get it together on the insert.

I'm new to this forum, so please forgive me if I posted this in the wrong thread.
I purchased a GMT Master 2 from a local watch repair here in Manhattan.
Paid $432.00 on my Visa.
Is my watch 904L/317L?
I asked the seller and he said "steel is steel," I may be a noob to reps, but that seemed like a shady answer.
Can anybody please opine on the make of my rep?
Did I get ripped?

Legit looking piece of history, that! Pity Glycine got lost in the quartz/merger mess all those years back - this brand should be way stronger, given its history and military credentials. Not holding my breath with invicta, mind, but one can only dream.New strap came in
