Hi, Gang! Welcome to the start of the weekend; may it be joyful to all.


Today's ride (and possibly tomorrow's) is this ROLEX DJ II TT that was gifted to me a number of years ago by a very graceful member. (Older members may recognize this watch and its story, but I'll try to keep it concise.) This beautiful piece, complete with an A2836-2 movement, was given to me when a member learned I had been scammed out of $200 by an RWI member from the UK. He himself was also from the UK and felt so badly about my situation that he sent me this watch & refused any offers I sent to him; I was absolutely FLOORED by this & to this day this watch holds a lot of special meaning to me & reminds me that there ARE a lot of decent people in the world.
