OK I have this old unknown factory but quite OK for the time rep I bought on vacay in BKK sitting unused with a chipped ceramic insert.
Then this brilliant idea came to mind while looking at this thread! Making a fantasy submarine hommage! A cheap Parnis insert and voilà!

Plus I get to pratice my chamfer technique, it's far from perfect but I am getting there! The difficulty was that I was unable to remove the bezel, it's pretty much stuck on there! But here are the best chamfer and diagonal satin I could do.

That's quite nice bro. The patina on the dial looks great! The bezel is probably anchored in place by the octagonal paper clip wire. See this post for details.

Brillant post mate! Damn I didn't see it before when I had the insert out (because it was chipped, it was easy to remove!
Initially I want to shave the CG...

Anyway I have given this watch to my dear mother who likes big watches nowadays, and she wanted crown guards! She thinks it looks cool hehe! Apparently big men watches are all the rage for the ladies :)

Here's mine, never seen in gen and stumbled on it when a seller listed the watches for sale for xmas. This check many of my wishes and the only thing I would change is to color the second hand in red instead of orange and put a 2824 later in it..

It's a DJ 41 with silver sunburst dial and Milgauss second hand, so it's a Miljust :p
