(This is a belated entry from last night):
Welcome to the start of yet another weekend! Friday is usually a "two-fer" day: the mainstay watch, and the gym watch. Today, the mainstay is this rep ROLEX DateJust II with an A 2836-2 movement. As some of you may remember, this watch is very special to me because it was GIVEN to me by a very special REPGEEK member, who felt ashamed that one of his countrymen scammed me out of $200 I had sent for a watch. The generous RG mate would not accept any compensation from me; I was floored by his generosity, to say the least. The gym watch is a BREITLING Super Ocean I purchased from an RWI mate shortly after I had joined the site back in '09; I recall the general outlines of his sale: he had purchased several of these for his friends -- some of whom backed out, so he was stuck with several of these, so he put them up for sale. Since then, I've worn the S.O. numerous times and has always attracted good comments. I'm a lucky dude. dave:

Hi, gang! Saturday night!!
Today's ride is this 41mm Rolex DJ II on Jubilee I purchased from a mate a number of years ago; it came complete with a realistic-looking Rolex watch box. Operating with an A 2836 heart, it's a dead ringer for my gen DJ @ 36mm. I wear this on occasion when I don't want to expose the 36mm gen to the outside, dirty world. dave:
