When I first got it, I forced a little patina to give it some character but then I realized I didn't have to. I live on the beach and April has been a wet, rainy, humid month with a lot of weather coming in off the ocean. You could smell the salt in the air and I just wore it a lot. I walk on the beach at least a little bit every day from 5 minutes to a few but the patina you see is from wear in that environment.
The blues and greens really started to come out and once they did it really just spread.
It really is amazing and fascinating to see the change from day to day and week to week. It has life and character.
