Some of the online photo editing sites are pretty damn good, and also friendly for beginners.

    Check out:

    hxxp://fotoflexer.com

remembering to change hxxp to http of course.

Down side is needing to upload photos especially if you are not on a very fast connection.

there's probably something wrong with the file that you downloaded....

and you know...i just found out that limewire isn't so safe place to download softwares....I got myself a nice and strong trojan virus from it...... :x

uninstall the limewire asap and do some virus check up.....sorry about that my friend.....

                  GReat tips -

                  * Also, you may want to hit "Image>adjust>SHARPEN" if your image is big enough. Really helps "pop" it.

                      Good tutorial!

Since I am a professional photographer and editor...let me give a few more tips on PS.
You can use the select rectangle set to circular in the tool palette to select the face and then you right click on that and select "feather", pick a number like 50 pixels. Then you can adjust the brightness and contrast of the face...the feathering allows the adjustments to be more subtle and the procedure is a lot easier than using the magnetic lasso. Believe me, I use this hundreds of times a week in my photo editing and it makes life a lot easier.

and let's not forget the open-source (FREE and legal) alternative: GIMP.

Can the same thing be done in Photoshop Elements?
Old Punks never die they just stand in the back.
