Nope. You have to make it water resistant with a watch maker.

Hello guys,
I have been looking throughout all the developing of the post, but do not remember if this question was ever addressed. Having the santos 2018 the quick release strap, would it be possible to get the rep mechanism in order to get a custom strap? Or do we just have to stick to rep or gen straps/bracelets?

A watchmaker can probably align that, but you have to consider this are not super high-end movements, rather cheap but also reliable. If that bothers you, you could service it every now ant then and straighten the hands. My recommendation, don't get OCD.

Hi, nice review, it looks like the 24 hour power reserve is like standard on the gfs miyota, is it a problem? I just got my blue dial gf 40mm and it looks like i have the same issue, how can i fix that? Should i send it back or is it possible to fix this issue on a watch smith?

I just got my GF 40MM Santos, I unboxed it around 7pm, had it on my wrist by 7:30. I took it off 10pm. Woke up this morning and it stopped around 2am. Also, the date window didnt flip over to 5, it remained at 4. Shouldnt it have flipped over to 5, once it went past 12:00? What did you do about your power reserve issue?

......and I was wrong. My issue was I just needed to properly wind the watch. Runs fine.
