Cartier Santos 100 on 16.5 cm (6.5") wrist : bad idea ?

Hi gents,

I need your wise advices : I have a crush on the latest Cartier 100 but I have a chicken wrist of 16.5 cm (6.5").
I wonder if it can fit, or if it 'd just look ridiculous.

I had a APROO (42mm) and a PAM177 (44mm) but they looked oversized on my skinny wrist. That ultimate Santos 100 is a square 38*38mm wich is 54mm diagonal (!!). As I have no AD around to try it on, I'd highly apreciate your help.

I tried on the gen with my skinny 16cm wrists. It fits ok. The edges are just nice and do not hang over the wrist.

1. Find out Cartier 100's lug-to-lug distance
2. Measure the flat of your wrist
3. Compare the two dimensions to see if there will be any overhang

I have a 6.5" wrist too and accommodates a lug-to-lug of 52mm.

Just checked, the Santos 100 is 51mm lug-to-lug.

I was interested in this so went to the AD to try it on. I have a 17cm wrist and it looked fine. I am pretty sure it would also be fine on a 16.5cam wrist.

Whilst at the AD I spotted and tried on the Drive and tried that on. For me it won hands down.

Hey ! hold on a sec : is there multiple "ultimate" V6F sizes ?
I thought the latest batch of this santos 100 (which is known as a super rep OTB) was 38mm wide.
I've heard of "XL" but I thought this was for chrono version.
Is there another "middle" size that is not "Ladies" 's size. If yes, is this middle size as good as the 38mm ??

From what I understand, V6F only have 1 size which is 38mm. Do they also produce the medium? Which is 35.6mm.

This is my v6f Santos 100 XL on 6.5" wrist on gen strap.

Tbh, whilst it is an unbelievably beautiful watch and a stunning rep, I find myself rarely wearing it because it's just too big. I'll be putting it on m2m soon.

I'm 16,5 too
I have the medium (33mm) size and the XL (38,5)
Both are ok to me and it depends on you: do you like oversized watches? Let's go for the XL. If not, the medium size would be perfect.

I am looking for a Cartier Santos 100 Medium, exactly as yours. Can you pls confirm if the medium one is the 33mm we find in some of the TD? For exemple:

Can't wait to buy one Santos medium V6F and upgrade with a gen band. I have a 17wrist so think it might be more elegant than the 38mm witch I assume is the XL. I think sizes for the Santos look quite controvert in the TD websites

I have a gen medium 2018 Santos (released at Baselworld). It's roughly 35mm. I think it wears perfectly on my 6.25" wrist.
