Gold Santos?

In the market for a Santos 35mm but already have two other stainless watches. Have always wanted a gold watch and this may be the one, however I once read never buy a gold rep as it never looks accurate. I've been happy enough with my 3KF gold color vs gen in both RG and YG in other models, and Santos should be similar.

Gold watches are not to everyone's taste, but when you've got an itch you have to scratch it. Modern plating is great, just take note that the brush finish on the Santos brings out much more gold color than high shine does, so it may appear stronger hued than you might expect. But gen Santos do too, just how it works.

Considering the dressiness of gold, it's also worth thinking about gold on leather.
