Avenger GMT II DLC gen Leather Strap

Found a nice Gen Limited Edition Leather Strap,
Black and white.

Let me just give you some feedback.

This is leather that had a coating over of some sort, not sure what they use bit almost has a suede finish feel on the black.

I first thought it was Rubber.

Still it compliments the watch really nice, but i can see this will wear and tear quickly if not taking good care off.

Anyone know what the coating is they use for this ??

Looks good, the black red would also be nice.

I’ve seen a lot of used ones up for sale and they have been peeling sides and near the buckle. Not knowing the history so don’t know water use, humidity and wear conditions which will all effect it...

Yes definitely will peel, i wanted the rubber with dlc clasp, but had none in stock. Will check again next week.

SOA does pack 42mm, but lugs are tiny 20mm mate
