Worth getting gen bracelet??

Evening folks, got a gf superocean special 44. Was looking at gen pro 3 rubbers with a gen clasp, but for about £100 or so more I could get a brand new gen pro 3 bracelet, just wondering is it worth it or how good is the bracelet on the gf?

I suppose it depends on if you prefer bracelet to rubber. IMO for that little of price difference it would be worth getting the gen bracelet -- I am always skeptical about the durability of the reps.... rubber is rubber for the most part and there are some excellent aftermarket rubber straps.

Yeah, it’s hard, a gen pro 3 rubber with gen clasp does look lovely, but gen bracelet I just found for same price albeit slightly used

Go for gen bracelet and straps, as good as the rep watches are I find the strap/not that great or comfortable. I have a number of gen Breitling straps and they complement the watch beautifully and are butter soft on the wrist...one of my favourites

This is the thing, I had a gen omega planet ocean, and even the super reps bracelets just are the biggest flaws for me, I have the gf superocean 44 special coming in a couple days I got m2m, and I feel like I could either buy another rep or spend the money getting a gen strap or bracelet for the gf. £320 for a gen bracelet pro 3. Or £240 for a gen pro rubber 3 with gen clasp, both used in excellent condition

Hello Matty! This is my SO Special 44 with gen pro 3 bracelet! The diference between gf and gen bracelete is not so big. Both braceletes have a cheap feeling. Better go for gen rubber and clasp and use GF bracelet!

I have had the gf brushed bracelet and it wasn’t terrible but I just got a gmt I with the polished bracelet. It’s weird but the polished one feels wayyyy better. It also snaps shut very nice and clasp closed way nicer. Probably just got lucky but the polished one feels way nicer when it comes to the rep.

@_ceco_ thanks exactly what I was looking for, I know I remember being shocked at trying a couple gens on and the bracelet not feeling as hefty or special as my planet ocean gen, will go for gen rubber

You have to use two websites to confirm the bracelet number will work. I use Breitling.com and breitlingsouce.com. I have bought 3 Gen bracelets and 4 Areo rubber straps. They are worth it. Here is a link to my notes describing how you confirm the bracelet will fit.
