Hello,
I just purchased a Breitling Avenger Skyland in M2M .The bezel does not move/Turn and there is rust in between the space of the bezel and even in the springbar holes. What can I do? Remove all screws and lift the bezel ? Or is it snapped on and additionally fixed with screws because I have no crystal press .
Thanks a lot
The maker is unknown but it think it if GF because the edges of the numbers are more rounded than on the noob dial .

Was this not explained in the sales thread ?

Have you contacted the seller ?

The bezel assembly should be as gen - the screws will allow the bezel assembly to be removed, but whether it is salvageable depends on the damage done by the rust.

He said basically sorry I didn't know because I never used the bezel.

You need to get an idea of what it would cost to fix the bezel. Then, seek a partial refund from the seller. If you can't work it out on your own, open a Help Desk ticket.

Be careful about the screws and removing them. On the Skyland I had the bezel screws were faux and only for show. They did not secure the bezel, which was held on by a normal spring mechanism.

Or just zoom in on the date window and the 10 and 15 on the bezel. That is the easiest differentiation between the noob and H fac versions

Are you sure it is rusted? Or maybe it was dried oil that gummed the mechanism?
I had a seiko like that.
What I did was put a few drop of oil between the bezel and case. Let it sit for a few minutes then start to turn the bezel.
Add some more oil until it began to turn smoothly.
Might want to try it first

Oh btw:
WD40 is great for removing rust but don't spray it directly. Spray it to a small container and then pour the oil little by little to the bezel space.

I tried oil and it didn't work but soaking the bezel in vinegar to loosen and remove the rust worked somehow perfectly. There is still rust in the notches of the shroud of the pusher but that will be easie .I still would like to remove the bezel to lube it .I will post a pic of the dial and case back .

Hm, vinegar works well to remove calsium deposit. But it works, just remember to really wash it clean.
Try dry silicone spray, see if that smooth the bezel. I used it on my seiko afterward and so far it works great.
