How did you have the Swiss 7750 installed ? I have been using Strodder for my repairs. Do I just tell him i want a Swiss 7750 or is there specific movement I should request ?

I have only seen the watch with the canvas strap. But they are much better now with the rubber backing and sides. I have this watch as a weekend beater. It wears well and takes a lot of abuse.

BlutRune installed it for me. I know he can source movements if needed. I got mine off of eBay, and sent both the watch and the movement to him. The movement is an ETA Valjoux 7750 with the standard layout (seconds @9).

How much did you buy it ?

Do you feel a difference between the Asian and the ETA ?

Movement + shipping + regulation was about 340-350€.

I think the feeling of the Swiss movement is mostly in my head from knowing my watch is now more reliable and that I don’t need to fear using the chrono function. It also winds smoothly and keeps good time. ????????????

My order is awaiting shipment atm. It comes with an extra strap: leather strap with tang buckle. Dont know exactly which strap this is. Can't wait to have it on my wrist

I’m curious about the leather strap. My extra strap was a green nylon one.

Ok, Just received the qc pics. Looks very promising. Anyone knows what the technical information like lift, rate, amp, e.t. means?

Edit: found the info results are good with a rate of 3 seconds a day .

ok, the resizing is giving me some problems. I got the spring bar loose at one side. I unscrewed a little screw so i could reach the spring bar. The other side (the right side on the photo from dropbox) i don't know how to reach the spring bar. Does anyone know how this works?

You don’t need to unscrew anything. Use your thumb to push down on the strap next to the buckle and you should be able to see one end of the springbar. Use a springbar tool to push the springbar down and gently pull the strap free. It’s done the same way on both ends of the strap/both sides of the deployment clasp. Good luck mate!

What screw? With the rubber canvas you should just need to remove the spring bars then measure wrist size and cut to size and re-attach deployment.
