New GF Breitling Release

At first I thought this was a fantasy model but being GF they seem to be only releasing actual models. So after some searching see it is a very rare boutique edition limited to 100.

I've only found photos of one in the wild to compare but think it's an interesting release...thoughts?

I quite like it, even more than the standard blackbird

I like the CF dial and the yellow combo! Gives the blacksteel a whole new dimension.

For me what makes it special is the combo of arabic numerals and CF dial: it gives it a more militaristic look and eminds me of the Superavenger Hurricane which I've always liked but is simply too big for my wrist

Interesting that intime have it but I couldn't see it on trusty who seem to have all the GF recent releases weeks before anyone else?

I guess factories try to rotate the exclusive between dealers: Toro was the first to get Noob Daytona, InTime the first to get VSF Omega Seamaster with clone movement, Trusty the first to get SOH II and so on

With only 50 worldwide I have only managed to find one wrist shot on the web so I am having a hard time trying to compare to gen.

Based on that as long as it is well build aligned etc it is looking like a decent option.

It’s arrived. Feels nice, looks nice. I like the carbon fiber dial.
Nice finish, nice case back. I believe it’s 44mm but it wears like 42 or 43.
my AP carbon 507 is supposed to be 42 and feels like 44 or 45.

I think that’s a good call. Which one would you recommend?, and would you have a suggestion on where’s a good place to pick one up?

How is the AR quality on the crystal? A while back I owned a GF blackbird V2 and was definitely not impressed with how much reflection was present. I know the gen blackbird also suffers from weak AR, but since this is a boutique variant, did GF make it better?

If you tilt it one way you get a bluish tint, another way and it’s very clear.
