Just for info, I was on holiday for a week and took my SOHII rep when I went swimming in the sea. After a weak the painting around the pearl has completely come off. Even the texture itself is gone, there is like a hole in this area. Not nice

Aaaand... this is why I keep all my reps away from any kind of liquid, I only use lens cleaner sometimes.

No the other markers are ok so far, but I will never put it in water again

I plan to repaint the triangle. Any suggestions on what paint to use?
Testors makes a flat white enamel paint, but want the color to match without having to repaint all of the markers.

No, but since i plan to enter with this watch to the water as well, I would love to hear your process and findings.

I think it is impossible to do the triangle and not the markers... they both have a kind of faded white look to it. But I'm also interested in this.

The consensus here is that it is pretty much NWBIG as long as you stick to the GF version. Only the clasp or buckle is/seems obviously rep. There is a entertaining link to a chinese site with side-to-side GEN-REP comparison, pretty hard to spot the difference ...
