Recommended custom strap/ style for Fifty Fathoms

Hi guys,

My FF has been having as much wrist time as it should since I got it off an M2M last year. Due to this, the rep sail cloth strap has started to deteriorate from the inside due to mold and moisture.

I don’t want to let go of this piece so I’m thinking of slapping on a decent custom strap on this to enhance the beauty of this watch.

Would you mind sharing your custom strap combo? Looking forward to it.

Brady Straps sail cloth is the best for the money period imo

Agree on the Brady. I've had their sailcloth and it's top notch. So many cool colors too.

Otherwise seatbelt nato quality or switch up with a gen black gator strap (gen Blancpain or just gen gator). It actually looks great. Last option is the bracelet

1. Is that bracelet is gen ? Where did you get it from ? I think i want the bracelet for my blue BPFF because i think the rep blue sailcloth is too thin for the watch (and very ugly light blue colour)
2. About the blue sailcloth, can we buy it from blancpain store ? Is it worth to buy it ? Or brady is same as good ?

Well the gen sailcloth is $350. There isn’t a comparison between that and the brady at $35 however the brady is better than the rep one. You can buy the strap from the Blancpain store. They’ll even normally ship. The bracelet can be found asking around some TDs or on dhgate but the quality varies. Look for one with correct everything. Gen bracelet is best and surprisingly very comfortable for a bracelet but is going to be 2k

Nice info. Thanks. Btw Right now im in Paris, and And just a half hour ago i was at blncpain store and asking about the sailcloth. It is 217 euro here, but they dont have it ready stock. Need around 2 weeks to get it.

Both noob and JF are gen spec cases so the lug width is 23mm. I’ve had both the 24mm and 22mm brady and think the 22mm fits better.

I ordered a custom 23mm green shark skin strap from Simona di Stefano when I first got mine -- loved it ever since, but I just noticed it has shrunk ...

Oh well -- I think it brings out the bezel rather well and is an option other than black or grey ...
