Damnit, just saw the watch on trusty and rushed here to let al you guys know. But I see I was beaten 3 times bynothers. LOL

O well, I'm glad this thread is still alive and fellow members actively post this pleasant surprise.

I'm gonna order one.

Had some time today to have a closer look. Watch looks good. Inline with the other versions. Luckily they didn't forgot the bronze one has a different caseback, the old-school diver helmet. However, here is were I did spot a flaw. The serial numbers on the rep seem the be laser engraved whilst on the gen they seem to be pressed. Also, the numbers do not match on the rep; the top number is 157 and the bottom one 159...*
Oh, and the wave pattern seems slightly different.
None of the flaws are a deal breaker for me. It still looks awesome and I ordered one.

* Edit: I noticed that on some gens the top and bottom serials match and on some other gens they don't match.

The 42mm B&Rs wear pretty close to a 45-47mm PAM -- these are not dainty by any means.

I’ve tried them numerous times. I’ve even got one of the bigger ones, and several 47mm pams. Not the same. They are just a little too little for me. Maybe not for you. If that was a 45mm chunky bronze thing I’d be all over it. My 47mm br01-92 is perfect
